What is Truth Center?
Truth Center Ministries is a fellowship of believers committed to the visible expression of God’s word that states the church is the pillar and foundation of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15).
It is our desire as a church family to commit to God's word that asks not to fail in assembling ourselves together, (Hebrews 10:25). Every church called of God serves a distinct purpose in the Body of Christ. We believe Truth Center Ministries is called of God, strategically positioned and purposefully gifted to fulfill His mandate for us.
The Truth Center Ministries Family shares a common belief in the one eternal God who has expressed himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the head of his body the church and will return to gather his body.
We also believe the word of God, the Holy Bible, is the book upon which our faith must rest. Your membership means you also share these beliefs and that God uses the church as a place of spiritual development.
Spiritual development occurs with submission to God's word and the leadership he appoints. We pray that your membership here will result in the realization of all the gifts God has deposited in his body, and bring you closer to being conformed to the image of his dear son
(Romans 8:29)
Why Membership?
The culture that exists today promotes, encourages and fosters individualism. This has also become the mindset of Christians. We see a common mindset among believers called the “Lone Ranger” mentality. Christians hop from church to church without any accountability or commitment which retards spiritual development. They fail to understand the Christian life means more than believing it also involves belonging.
How do I become a Member?
The membership process begins with the application for membership, a letter of welcome and a date for our new members class. The new members class is a one day event which includes, the requirements for membership and an indepth look into our vision, mission and strategy. This is followed by a time of fellowship with other new members and our Pastors.
How do I Serve?
The process involves a training class designed to prepare you for service. The training is done in two sessions. At Truth Center we believe serving in ministry is both a responsibility and a privilege that aids in the development of Christian character and provides an opportunity to serve God by serving people. We take the oversight to make sure each servant staff member understands the importance of being both committed and submitted to the word of God.
